I can't believe the size of our pine tree - when w I can't believe the size of our pine tree - when we moved here 21 years ago it was barely as tall as the house. I wonder how much bigger it will get?. The exceptionally cold weather last week continues to wreak havoc on the walls, the paint is coming off in sheets 😢. The sunbed cover has also been ripped to shreds. We did some more gardening to take advantage of the lovely warm weather. The wild asparagus is huge, the yukkas are also taking over the garden so Clive has had to cut some down. He had another bonfire to beat the predicted rain tomorrow. I decided that as I will be 58 in March I should start doing a lock down workout. Milly tried her best to stop me and Peanut just stared at me as if I'd gone mad 😂. The top I wear almost every day to work in is 25 years old! OK, it hasn't got much life left in it but it does show that you get what you pay for! I'll miss it when it finally falls to bits 😔 #cortijoloslobos #villanueavadeltrabuco #stayingpositive #newnormal #bluesky #lovelyday #bonfire #pinetree
Lovely to see Bella hanging out again with her kit Lovely to see Bella hanging out again with her kittens, maybe now that they're grown up she has more time for them again 😊. The 3 boys were also dozing together, it's lovely how close they are although Dad Leo does tend to favour Spirit more than Picasso 😔. Minty is doing really well again, even during the very cold spell he was getting around OK. I finished cleaning up the sand arena, I will be careful not to let the hay seed get on it in future!. Clive trimmed Lola's feet this morning, then burned some garden rubbish and chopped some wood. He even took his fleece off, must have been warm as Clive tends to feel cold. There were 4 more eggs hidden in the stable again today, naughty hens, we've gone from no eggs to having 16 in the fridge, just when we've gone into lock down and can't share them with Lily - typical! At least we'll have plenty of free meals. A friend gave us some seville oranges so I made a chutney today, it's really nice and as it has chilli in it, would go well with Indian food so that will be useful. The Covid numbers in our village and lots more are getting even worse and we have been asked to remain at home where possible 😢. #stayingpositive #newnormal #cortijoloslobos #villanueavadeltrabuco #productiveday #bluesky #recueanimals
